What to do
- Check whether your car is affected: enter your 17-digit VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls. A recall covers specific VINs, not every 2020 RIVERSTONE.
- Book a repair at any authorized Forest River dealer. Quote NHTSA campaign 25V550000 (manufacturer code 70-1957).
- The repair is free. By US law, safety recall repairs cost the owner nothing, no matter the car's age or mileage.
- Buying this car used? Ask the seller for proof the recall was completed, or run the VIN yourself before paying.

The plate that holds the wiring guide to the outside edge of the off door slide is too long. This is causing the plate to slice into the tire as the tire moves upward in its range of motion during travel. Luckily, I caught this before the tires blew and could have caused a major accident.
