What could happen: A rearview camera that does not display an image reduces the driver's view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will reprogram the parking assist ECU software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 2, 2022. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's number for this recall is 22TA04.
