My 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 unexpectedly braked on its own on two separate occasions while I was driving at a low speed, approximately 5 to 10 mph. There was no warning chime, no “BRAKE!” message, and no other warning immediately before the vehicle suddenly braked. One of the incidents occurred while driving through a drive-thru. Digital Instrument cluster screen has gone black 3 times since October 2025 making it impossible to see speed or other important driving safety information. Black out happened in October 2025, March 2026, and again on July 9, 2026. Screen eventually comes back after vehicle sits unused for several hours.
