1 safety recall, most serious first
1. Seat belts
What's wrong, in plain English: Seat belts may not hold you in a crash. In the event of a crash, the front driver-side and/or passenger-side seat belt pretensioners may explode upon deployment.
What could happen: An exploding seat belt pretensioner can project metal fragments into the vehicle, strike vehicle occupants, and result in injury.
The fix: Dealers will secure the seat belt pretensioners with a cap, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 25, 2022. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai's number for this recall is 231. This recall expands and replaces NHTSA recall number 21V-796 for Venue vehicle…
What to do
- Check whether your car is affected: enter your 17-digit VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls. A recall covers specific VINs, not every 2022 VENUE.
- Book a repair at any authorized Hyundai dealer. Quote NHTSA campaign 22V458000 (manufacturer code 231).
- The repair is free. By US law, safety recall repairs cost the owner nothing, no matter the car's age or mileage.
- Manufacturer hotline: 1-855-371-9460.
- Buying this car used? Ask the seller for proof the recall was completed, or run the VIN yourself before paying.

Every time it rains water pours into the cabin, especially on the passenger side leaving the floor soaked. I have to vacuum out water daily and use towels to prevent further damage. The vehicle has developed severe mold, which is a health risk, especially for…

When the car is started, the radio screen sometimes stays off. When this happens, the only way to resolve it is to shut off the car, open the door, and then restart the car. This issue occurs randomly, and when it does, there is no rear-view camera available, which poses a significant safety risk. Without the camera, drivers cannot see if there is a child o…

Hyundai issued a recall on 06/27/22 to repair part of the seat belt pretensioner, and they continue to send reminders to have the repair. However, they are out of the required part and according to dealers they will not give an ETA for delivery of the part. The gas door will not open when the lever is pulled. My safety is put at risk because if i was running out of gas, I would not be able to put gas in the car. Thank God I was not out of town. I have to take a plastic fork or knife, slide it in the crevice and then pull the lever inside the car. yes. yes. there has been no warning.
