1 safety recall, most serious first
1. Engine
What's wrong, in plain English: Engine problems range from stalling to fire. The airbox backplate breather port may be blocked, allowing pressure to build up inside the crankcase.
What could happen: When the dipstick is removed while the crankcase is pressurized, oil may eject from the fill spout, increasing the risk of injury.
The fix: Dealers will inspect the breather port, and if the port is blocked, repair the blockage, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 14, 2026. Owners may contact Harley-Davidson customer service at 1-800-258-2464. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.…
What to do
- Check whether your car is affected: enter your 17-digit VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls. A recall covers specific VINs, not every 2025 FLTRX.
- Book a repair at any authorized Harley-Davidson dealer. Quote NHTSA campaign 26V270000 (manufacturer code 0193).
- The repair is free. By US law, safety recall repairs cost the owner nothing, no matter the car's age or mileage.
- Manufacturer hotline: 1-800-258-2464.
- Buying this car used? Ask the seller for proof the recall was completed, or run the VIN yourself before paying.

Due to a known manufacturing issue the coil pack wiring was faulty on my motorcycle. It happened twice while I was out riding and both times the motorcycle shut down unexpectedly on me. The second time was almost catastrophic but I was able to ride in neutral to a breakdown lane. I bought the bike in July 2025 and the first issue I had was in august 2025. T…

The 2025 Road Glide throttle is malfunctioning. The bike is 5 days old. The throttle is hyper-sensitive. It also is inconsistent in power even when the throttle is held steady it will surge. The bike will tend to pop forward - lurch ahead at slow speeds, especially when coming to a stop. At times the bike will also not reach idle, it races to 2100 RPM…

I recently purchased, 9/12/2025, a 2025 Harley FLTRX. The turn signals operate erratically. When approaching a turn I energize the appropriate turn signal and it may or may not stay on for more than 3-4 seconds before reaching the turn. I am trying to concentrate on the traffic and not looking to see if my turn signal is still energized. I recently had a ne…

I am looking for help in reporting an issue. I have been told by my dealership they understand it is a problem; however, there is nothing they can do about it even though it is a safety issue. My motorcycle has been prematurely canceling the turn signals, prior to a partial/full turn since the date of purchase [XXX]. Nearly every time the left/right tu…
