Recalls: check by VIN
NHTSA files recalls for the GMC K Series under individual trim or body names rather than "K Series", so we can't match them automatically. Enter your 17-digit VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls for the definitive list. The owner complaints below are matched correctly.

WHEN TURNING SUCH AS ON CURVY ROADS AT SPEEDS OF APPROX 30+ MPH THE POWER STEERING WILL GO LIGHT TO THE FEEL AND CAUSE AN OVER STEER. THE STEERING RESISTANCE/FEEL IN THE STEERING WHEEL WILL GO TO NOTHING SUCH AS A TIRE FOLLOWING A RUT/RIDGE IN THE ROAD. FEELS LIKE FRONT END ALIGNMENT IS BAD BUT UPON CHECKING ALIGNMENT OK.
