2 safety recalls, most serious first
1. Equipment
What's wrong, in plain English: A part or accessory supplied with the vehicle. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2019-2024 Georgetown and FR3 Class A motorhomes. The liquid petroleum gas (LPG) tank mounting brackets may break, which can result in the LPG tank becoming dislodged and damaged.
What could happen: A damaged LPG tank increases the risk of a fire.
The fix: Dealers will inspect and replace the brackets and welds as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 11, 2024. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-206-7600. Forest River's number for this recall is 68-1736.
What to do
- Check whether your car is affected: enter your 17-digit VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls. A recall covers specific VINs, not every 2023 GEORGETOWN.
- Book a repair at any authorized Forest River dealer. Quote NHTSA campaign 24V103000 (manufacturer code 68-1736).
- The repair is free. By US law, safety recall repairs cost the owner nothing, no matter the car's age or mileage.
- Manufacturer hotline: 1-574-206-7600.
- Buying this car used? Ask the seller for proof the recall was completed, or run the VIN yourself before paying.

When parked and level at a campsite the windshield cracked from the bottom up. You can not feel the crack on the inside or outside of the glass and nothing hit it. The RV had been parked and leveled in the same exact spot for 9 days, when we woke up on day 10 the crack was there.
