TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 CHEVROLET COBALT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE TRAVELING 35-45 MPH, THE SMELL OF GASOLINE FUEL EMITTED INSIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A PRIVATE MECHANIC WHO CONFIRMED THAT THE FUEL SENDING UNIT FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN.
